We are one of the leading motor retail groups in Ayrshire, South West Scotland and Cumbria, and operate from 7 different sites with 9 new vehicle franchises, plus motorhomes and used car sales.

We require an Aftersales Manager with experience in running a busy Aftersales environment at our Workington site. You will be in charge of a large team and need to be a dynamic and hands-on individual. You must be able to command respect, trust and set the pace for the team, finding positive ways to achieve business results. We are looking for someone with a proven managerial track record who possesses excellent communication, leadership and team building skills.

Job Role
The main responsibilities of the Aftersales Manager are to organise the service and parts activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation. As part of a busy main car dealership you will also be responsible for:

•Managing a large team of Technicians, Service and Parts Advisors and Support staff
•Effective marketing and selling of manufacturer's service plans, warranties, labour hours, parts, accessories, lubricants and subcontracted service’s to maximise profitability
•Monitoring and working to monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
•Monitoring customer needs to maintain high levels of customer service and handling customer issues.

You will demonstrate good people management skills and you will be able to implement and maintain the aftersales processes with a good commercial awareness. The candidate should have the ability to identify growth opportunities and needs to be articulate and possess a high degree of enthusiasm.

Based on experience the position comes with a very competitive salary plus bonus and pension.
