The 2018 Driver Power Survey reveals wins for Kia Niro and Sorento

The Kia Niro was voted the best Small SUV by owners in the 2018 Driver Power Survey, while the Kia Sorento won in its category of Large SUVs. Other wins for Kia included the Rio – which won an impressive second place in the Supermini category, and the Kia Picanto – which came third in the City Car category. Finally, the Kia Sportage was awarded third place in the Mid-size SUV category.

The awards are based on survey results of real-life car owners, making them reputable, reliable and trustworthy reviews. The Kia Niro took second place in the list of Best Cars to own in 2018, scoring over 93%, while six other Kia models featured in the top 75.

Both the Niro and Soreno have proven very popular with their owners. The Niro also being awarded first place in the Infotainment, Connectivity and Electrics category due to its reversing camera system, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ as standard. The Niro’s safety features, which include Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist System, were also commended and came in at second place.

The Sorento also scooped additional awards, winning the Practicality and Boot Space category due to its boot capacity of 605 litres with five seats, or 1,662 litres with all seats folded. The Sorento was also praised for its reliability and build quality, finishing second in place in the aforementioned category.
