BC Motorhomes is experiencing an incredibly exciting time of growth and with the imminent arrival of Fiat Professional we are looking to recruit a talented Light Commercial Vehicle Technician, preferably with Fiat Experience, to help control our custom-built built new workshop.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join this important part of our business at this stage of its development. Working in a busy workshop environment you will be required to carry out standard servicing, fault analysis, repairs on all types of vehicles, and PDI work on our franchise vehicles. We are looking for a talented technician ideally with Franchise experience. Manufacturer training will be on-going for the successful candidate. You will possess a relevant formal qualification as a minimum requirement for this role. Job Role

We require a Car Valeting Supervisor to support the Sales Manager 

Working in a demanding and busy team environment, we need you to be competent, friendly and self-motivated.

The Role:

  • Ensure vehicles are washed, prepared and maintained to ensure a high standard of presentation
  • Ensure vehicles are completed on time with a high standard
  • Safeguard and protect customer vehicles whilst driving and cleaning with appropriate seat covers and mats
  • Clean and Polish interior and exterior of vehicle
  • Washing vehicles with appropriate solution
  • Cleaning tyres, wheels, arches, and mud flaps
  • Rinsing, drying, buffing, polishing paintwork
  • Cleaning interior with solutions and tools
  • Vacuuming interior
  • Shampoo carpet and upholstery
  • Cleaning seats and windows
  • Blackening and slicking tyres
  • Minor repairs to scratches and small dents
  • Deliver and collect cars as requested by management
  • Assist with the efficient flow of vehicles around the site and for collection and delivery
  • Maintenance of equipment and other materials
  • Maintain work / site areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Assist with site maintenance duties as required
  • Note any accidents or damage on vehicles and to bring to the attention of management
  • Manage the team of valeters to make sure that all deadlines are met

  

The Person:

  • Must have experience in a car cleaning and valeting role
  • Knowledge of appropriate vehicle cleaning solutions
  • General fitness and strength to undertake physical and demanding work
  • Attention to detail and pride in the finished product
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently in a busy, demanding environment
  • Must hold a clean valid driver’s licence
